Discover one of the most important moors in the Montafon

Habitats with absolute rarity value, special plant and animal species and an impressive view of the Silvretta - on the hike through the three European nature reserves Schuttfluren Tafamunt, Wiegensee and Verwall, the nature guide will show you a natural area that is second to none. At the heart of the hike is a unique moorland biotope at 1,900 m above sea level: the Wiegensee, the oldest natural reservoir in the Montafon and Austria's most beautiful place in 2021.

On the way to the Verbellaalpe and Zeinissee, we hike through various stages of moorland, tall herbaceous meadows and alpine pastures. The tour is rounded off with an impressive bus ride along the Silvretta High Alpine Road, with views of the three reservoirs Kops, Silvretta and Vermunt, back to Partenen.

Information on the Silvretta High Alpine Road closure: If the Bielerhöhe is closed on the day of the hike, you will walk back to the Tafamunt mountain station or via Ganifer to Partenen. The hiking guide will let you know during the hike.
