Who we are and what we stand for.
We are Gargellner. We are Montafoners. We are Vorarlbergers. We are newcomers. We are temporary residents.
We are mountain people.
We are the people behind the Gargellner Bergbahnen, we are the people who create and experience mountain adventures for you and us. We were born in the Montafon mountains, or moved here, because we love what we do. We work in gastronomy, in retail, in administration, on the lift, on the mountain and on the slopes. We take you to the heights, organize your mountain day, ensure your safety, equip you, cater for you, but above all: we look forward to your visit!

What describes us?
For example, the 3 central principles of the "Montafon" brand.
- My Montafon principle:The Montafon relies on individual offers that are linked to people. They show their Montafon and that creates closeness. Personal relationships play a very important role.
- Interlocking principle:The mountains are part of the living world and life is part of the mountain world. The guest feels this strong interlocking of the two worlds and lives it.
- Experiential principle: Mountain experiences in the Montafon are as easy and uncomplicated for everyone to experience as nowhere else in the Alps. The people of Montafon ensure that all access barriers are removed or reduced to a minimum.
We recognize ourselves in these principles and that's a good thing, because we are part of the Montafon and proud of it. We create individual and personal mountain experiences in and around Gargellen. We live from and with the mountains, they and the nature that surrounds us are our greatest asset. That is why we are guided by the following principle:
When man and nature complement each other, respect each other, harmonize with each other, then sustainability is achieved.
For us, social, ecological and economic sustainability is not just an issue, but a matter of course. In Gargellen, we have always relied on cohesion in the village and sustainable management of the nature that surrounds us. We live with and for the Gargellen mountains. Conveying our enthusiasm for the mountains and mountain sports to our local and international guests - the temporary residents - as well as our (new) colleagues motivates us every day anew.
