In the Montafon we
have 'ghörige' events!

Why do we in the Montafon want to support this initiative?

The "ghörig feschta" project will make the Montafon even more climate-friendly in the future. The aim of "ghörig feschta" is to establish a sustainable and climate-friendly event culture at public events and festivals in the valley. This involves avoiding waste, but also the use of regional products, climate-friendly travel to and from events and the conservation of resources when planning events. Accordingly, public events should be organized according to the criteria of "ghörig feschta im Muntafu" and as many of them as possible should also be certified.

We have already purchased high-quality reusable tableware, which can be borrowed from Montafon Tourismus by clubs for their celebrations.

Please note that for organizational reasons we need a lead time of 14 days.

No rental fee is charged as part of the ghörig feschta initiative.
The cleaning of dishes and cups is charged at 30 cents per item used, cutlery is charged at 15 cents per item.
The dishes must be free of coarse food residues. In the event of very heavy soiling, we reserve the right to charge for the actual cost of cleaning.
For hygienic reasons, cleaning by the organizer is not possible.
The ordered quantity must be collected by the customer. Delivery by Montafon Tourismus is not possible.
After the event, the dishes must be returned for cleaning on the agreed return date. The exact details must be clarified with Montafon Tourismus.
Missing or damaged items will be charged at 2.50 euros for crockery and cups, 3.50 euros for wine glasses and 2.00 euros for cutlery.
We recommend the use of a deposit system.

The new criteria have already been successfully implemented at the first events and the response from the organizers has been very positive, as the following feedback makes clear.

We were often asked by Gallimarkt guests how great and sustainable the tableware is, and of course we advertised diligently.
The wine glasses in particular are brilliant, it's simply something else to drink wine from such a beautiful "glass" and to be able to serve food from beautiful plates with cutlery.
Of course it's an extra effort to pick up all the dishes (it's not really possible with a car) and
bring them back again, but this extra effort is 100% worth it when you think of the mountains of garbage with all the cups and
paper plates."
