What you can expect
Mountain railway
We operate up to 8 lifts in winter, in summer our 8-seater EUB, the Schafberg Bahn, is the heart of our operation. We also ensure that the pistes around the Schafberg plateau are perfectly groomed, snowed and secured, as well as ensuring the safety of our guests.
Of course, extensive maintenance and greening work is also part of the tasks of our mountain railroad team. The job opportunities in the mountain railroad sector therefore go far beyond the classic technical professions, such as cable car technician or machine operator.
If you have an affinity for numbers and feel comfortable in direct contact with guests, we would also be delighted to receive your application for our cable car ticket office at the Gargellner Bergbahnen valley station.

Sports shops
Proper and high-quality sports equipment is the basic prerequisite for enjoying nature and the mountains safely and relaxed. That's why we offer our guests a large selection of high-quality sports clothing and equipment for every need in the PME sports store - right in the valley station. Whether hiking or ski boots, ski touring equipment and climbing accessories, sportswear, helmets or sunglasses - we have exactly what a mountain enthusiast needs for a variety of mountain experiences!
Our PME team is active in both summer and winter in the areas of sales and rental, supplemented in winter by ski and board service.

Gastronomy
The Schafberg Hüsli is open for our guests in both summer and winter. In winter, the valley run also leads to our umbrella bar Dr'Schirm at the valley station. Our team consists of employees in various areas of gastronomy.
Regional and predominantly sustainably produced ingredients, motivated employees and perfect service are our motto.
