The path to the Gauertalhaus is prepared by us with piste machines throughout the winter. This means you can start your day's skiing after a hearty breakfast right in front of the hut and end it on the doorstep. Experienced skiers or snowboarders can ski directly from the Golmer Rhätikon lift via ski route 22 to the Gauertalhaus! If there is enough snow, you can go tobogganing from the Gauertalhaus to the centre of Tschagguns. With skis or snowboard you are back in Latschau at the Golmerbahn in 7 minutes.

In summer, autumn and spring, the Gauertalhaus is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes or mountain tours in the Rätikon mountains. This time is also ideal for groups and families to enjoy nature and relax in peace. Alpine climbing tours such as the Schwarzhorn or mountain hikes to the Drusentor are possible in half-day to full-day tours from the Gauertalhaus. The via ferrata with cave crossing on the Sulzfluh promises a special experience.

The Gauertalhaus can be reached on foot in 45 minutes from the Latschau hiking car park.
