These very special songs have the power to keep memories alive for years to come. A fact that Montafon Tourism makes use of to implement the core brand value "personal" in the form of a song.
After all, what could be more personal than giving locals and guests goosebumps at the thought of the Montafon?

Until now, modern Montafon songs have mostly been associated with Krauthobel. However, artist Falco Luneau, who lived in the Montafon for a long time, has been enriching the musical landscape in the valley with the song"Muntafu" for several years now. "From the very beginning, our aim was to use the song to connect people, awaken a sense of home and strengthen cohesion," explains Falco. "Everyone should be able to find themselves in the song and identify with it." In order to meet this challenge, the singer first took a close look at the Montafon region and its core brand values. For the recording, he deliberately hired only musicians from the valley: The voices come from Falco and Sandra Kraft, Jürgen Ganahl from Krauthobel is on guitar, Ralph Hollenstein on bass, Lucas Bitschnau on drums, Robert Krenn plays the Styrian harmonica and Harald Bschorr the trombone. Sandra Kraft sums up the joy of everyone involved: "Music is always about emotion, passion, people and relationships. It's similar to hosting - the feeling has to be right. And that was the case with this song right from the start."
Versatile The song is available as a quiet version and as a party mix. Montafon Tourismus will mainly use the song at events, play it as background music in advertising and also record it on the telephone band. The various versions of the song will also be made available to tourism businesses in the valley free of charge. CDs are available free of charge at the Montafon tourist information offices. The song was presented live for the first time at the 2019 Tourism Day in Bartholomäberg.
