The route was erected in spring of 2007 by Manfred Kessler and Leander Bitschnau with the help of many volunteers. The via ferrata can be reached from the Heinrich-Hueter chalet in about 45 minutes. The first part is very challenging with 200 m of steep climbing. The second part runs over an exposed ridge with a sensational view of the Rellstal valley, Lünersee lake and Zimba. The route is secured throughout with a steel cable.
The descent runs along the normal hiking path into the the Saulatäli.
