Unspoiled nature is the true guarantee for a relaxing vacation. We do our part every day to ensure that this is and remains the case.
What else we do for environmental protection and sustainability ...
- The recyclable raw materials (paper & cardboard, yellow bag (packaging material), metals (cans, ...) and bottles) are carefully sorted and delivered to the recyclable collection points. This means that we only have a very small proportion of residual waste.
- E-charging stations: There are 4 VKW VLOTTE e-charging stations at the parking lot at the valley station, which are powered by 100% eco-electricity. All e-charging cards should work.
- In cooperation with the municipality of Silbertal and Caruso, we support the first e-car sharing model (YouTube Video)from the Montafon. A minibus (Mercedes eVito) and a car (Peugeot ZOE) are available here. All charging cycles of the e-vehicles are "easily" covered by the yields of our own photovoltaic systems with 100% eco-electricity.
- The snow water for snowmaking comes from 6 springs on the Kristberg. All the spring water is later returned to nature without any additives. The best spring water is only borrowed for the short "snow season" and therefore remains in the natural water cycle.
- Detailed information on the CO2 footprint is available as a PDF file. We make our entire CO2 footprint every year "climate neutral". We do this through our partnership with Turn to Zero.
