🚠 Start on the Kristberg

After the ascent with the Montafon Kristbergbahn cable car, your adventure begins at St. Agatha's Chapel, the oldest church in the Montafon. Here you will be introduced to the mysterious world of Montafon myths with the legend of St. Agatha's Chapel and the legend of Bishop Theodul.

📖 On the trail of the legends

From there, you hike over the Kristbergsattel to the Bruderhüsli in the Dalaaser Wald forest - a place with a very special atmosphere. Continue along the silver trail to Tüftuala, where the legend of the shepherd boy awaits you, to the "Sieba Brünna" Kneipp facility, where the night people are up to mischief.

🌿 Nature meets mysticism

A highlight is the view of the Wildried, one of the highest upland moors in the Alps - here the legend of the rich farmer will stimulate your imagination. Past the Gretsch waterfall and the "Starke Eck" with the legend of the alpine dairy doll, you are finally accompanied by the wild rushing of the Litz to the mysterious Teufelsbach stream.

The trail ends at the impressive Silbertal open-air stage, one of the largest in Europe. In summer, the Montafon Legend Festival is performed here - a spectacle that turns nature itself into a stage.
