Mountainbiketransport im Bus
Die Mitnahme von Fahrrädern ist im gesamten öffentlichen Linienbus-Verkehrsnetz im Montafon laut Fahrplan grundsätzlich möglich. Bitte beachte:
- Keine Mitnahme von E-Mountainbikes möglich
- Pro Bus können maximal vier Fahrräder transportiert werden.
- Die Fahrradträger sind für Mountainbikes bis zu einer Reifengröße von 27,5 Zoll ausgelegt.
- Keine Reservierung möglich – es gibt keine Platzgarantie
- Die Fahrradmitnahme ist nicht im Freizeit-WildPass sowie nicht in Saison- oder Jahreskarten inkludiert
- Für Dein Fahrrad ist ein separates Ticket erforderlich, das Du direkt im Bus oder am Ticketschalter lösen kannst

Riding in the following areas is prohibited during the specified periods. Regular checks are carried out during this time.
- Hinteres Silbertal (Verwall European nature reserve) from the Fellimännle mountain hut to the Silbertaler Winterjöchle from September 16 to June 14.
- Verwall European nature reserve entire area from October 16 to June 14.
- Tschagguns - Tilisuna (Gampadelstal), driving on the Tilisuna goods road is prohibited from September 16 to October 15.
Time restrictions (recommendations)
Bartholomäberg
Due to the urgent need to hunt red deer, you are requested not to enter the Bartholomäberg area from Rellseck, Fritzensee and Fulateia from October 10 (in the fall) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.!
Gaschurn - Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, Lake Silvretta
Driving on the lake shore of Lake Silvretta is only permitted on the eastern shore (driving is also prohibited on the dam path - the path leads below the dam) up to the entrance to Klostertal. Driving from the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe to the Wiesbadener Hütte / Klostertaler Umwelthütte is restricted from 10:00 to 15:00 (recommended). During this time, you should not drive, as there are too many pedestrians on the Silvrettasee circular route. Hikers always have priority.
Tips for your e-mountain bike tour in the Montafon
- Equipment: Especially on longer tours, you should definitely pack enough fluids and an energy-boosting snack in your rucksack. That way you'll be fit again after a short break!
- The refreshment stop: No tour is complete without a refreshment stop at one of the alpine huts, mountain huts and alpine clubs. There you can recharge your batteries and enjoy the panorama.
- Emergency kit: A tire repair kit or spare tube should not be missing on any longer tour, as a puncture can often happen quicker than you would like.
