For all four adventure areas, there are adventure area circuits that focus on the special features of the respective adventure area. The Alpine Mosaic Montafon is open to everyone and is primarily aimed at all curious, active nature lovers. There is a large selection of hiking tours that can be enjoyed by all age groups - especially in the valley, there are numerous paths that are barrier-free and therefore easily accessible. Even beginners need not shy away from a hiking tour in the Silvretta adventure area, for example, as there are also hikes for less experienced hikers directly below the summits of the three-thousand-metre peaks.

Yes, depending on your needs and time, there is a large selection of multi-day stages available, which can also be individually designed. You are completely free to combine them as you wish - depending on what you are looking for and what experiences you would like to have with the Alpine Mosaic Montafon or what level of difficulty you would like to choose.

It is possible to hike on the Alpenmosaik Montafon trails at any time of year. However, the accessibility of the trails at higher altitudes depends on the snowmelt and the start of winter. Yes, there are trails in every municipality where you can find out more about the respective village. Younger guests (approx. 5-9 years) can go on a journey of discovery with Erna the stone sheep on these trails. There are also trails suitable for baby carriages, which are marked in the route description and are also barrier-free.

Each excellent tour of the Alpenmosaik Montafon begins with clear maps and information boards (e.g. on the surrounding area). The respective accessible paths are marked on the map or highlighted in color. The paths run along existing hiking trails that lead from one destination to the next. Once you have set off, you will find wooden pillars at various places with route descriptions, texts and further background information. If further information is available, it is possible to use the camera of a mobile device (e.g. smartphone) to scan the QR code shown.

Countless mountain huts and managed alps invite you to relax and refresh. If you are planning one or more nights as a stopover at a mountain hut, we recommend that you book your accommodation well in advance and not immediately on the day itself or during a tour. Especially in high summer, i.e. in the months of July to August, it is advisable to book in advance at mountain huts and accommodation providers.

The Montafon has a well-developed network of public transport and hiking buses.

• By train: The Alpenmosaik Montafon is easy to reach by train (information at bahn.de). The Montafonerbahn runs from Bludenz station to Schruns (information at montafonerbahn.at).
• By car: Coming from Germany via the A96 through the Pfänder Tunnel, the Rheintalautobahn A14 and the Ambergtunnel to the Bludenz / Montafon exit. Continue on the L 188 Montafoner Straße (Silvrettastraße).
