Mountain bike transport on the bus

Bicycles can generally be taken on the entire public bus network in the Montafon according to the timetable. Please note:

  1. E-mountain bikescannot be transported
  2. A maximum of four bikes can be transported per bus.
  3. The bike racks are designed for mountain bikes up to a tire size of 27.5 inches.
  4. No reservation possible - there is no guaranteed space
  5. Bicycle transport isnot included in the Freizeit-WildPass and not in season or annual tickets included
  6. A separate ticket is required for yourseparate ticket is requiredwhich you can buy directly on the bus or at the ticket counter

E-mountain bike transport in the gondola

In the Montafon, your e-mountain bike experience starts right from the ascent: several cable cars allow you to transport your e-mountain bike in comfort - so you can set off directly on scenic tours and exciting trails.

E-mountain bike transport is possible on the following gondola lifts:

  • Hochjoch cable car (Schruns, Silvretta Montafon)

  • Kristbergbahn (Silbertal, Montafon Kristbergbahn)

  • Golmerbahn - E-mountain bike transport only possible on section I from Vandans to Latschau

  • Sonnenkopfbahn (Klostertaler Bergbahnen)

M³ - Montafon Mountain Bike Marathon

On 26 July 2025, it will be that time again – the legendary M³ Mountain Bike Marathon will take place for the 16th time in Montafon!
Sports competitions with different levels of difficulty, an e-mountain bike hydroelectric power circuit and an e-mountain bike leisure circuit take participants through the breathtaking mountain world of Montafon and offer the opportunity to meet people who share the same passion. A must for all (e-)mountain bike enthusiasts!
