We value honesty and transparency - also when it comes to sustainability. That's why our hosts in the Montafon can be listed under the category "Responsible Hosting". This overview shows you certified sustainable accommodation in the valley.
The basis for this is exclusively holistic certifications that fulfill ecological, social and economic criteria - in line with our understanding of sustainable tourism development.
For example, awards in accordance with GSTC standards or ISO Type 1 certifications that guarantee the highest sustainability requirements are recognized. This makes it easier for you to find businesses that demonstrably act responsibly - for the environment, society and a future worth living.

Positioning for the future
We are delighted to see that we can list more and more certified accommodations in Montafon.
Some businesses have embarked on the path to certification, or more precisely, certification with the Austrian Ecolabel, together with PIZ Montafon, our future laboratory for sustainable tourism. As part of the Host Role Model Programme, various businesses have worked together to achieve certification.
