From the Lindauer Hut, the path first leads to the nearby Spora Alpe. At the foot of the limestone mountains "Three Towers" and "Drusenfluh", the path leads towards Lünersee. After about 450 meters of elevation gain or 1.5 hours, you reach the Öfen Pass. 30 minutes later you reach the "Swiss Gate" transition. An old customs house sits here by the roadside. To the right of the "Swiss Gate" are the Kirchlispitzen, a hotspot for daring sport climbers from all over the world. The path then leads back up to the Verajoch (2,323 m). On the descent from Verajoch, you can already see the Lünersee after a short time. At the Lünersee is the Lünersee Alpe. Turn left here, after about 500 m past a mountain stream the path leads up to the Totalp Hut. From the Lünersee Alpe, it is still about 1.5 hours to the Totalp Hut.
