Tourbeschreibung

A short but breathtaking hike on the Bilkengrat. The panorama of the limestone mountains of the Rätikon is particularly impressive on this section!

Description

This beautiful hut stage leads through the heart of the Rätikon. In the first part, the Tilisuna impresses with the Tilisuna Lake, the Tilisuna Seehorn, as well as the Weißplatte. At the first ascent lies the Schwarzhorn before you. This volcanic mountain stands out due to its black rock and feels somewhat out of place in the mostly bright limestone Rätikon. Once you reach the pass, the Schwarze Scharte, a breathtaking panorama opens up. Before you lies the Gauertal with the valley end of the Drusenstock with the Drei Türme, the Drusenfluh, and the Sulzfluh. However, the Sulzfluh is not yet visible from the Schwarze Scharte. The path into the Gauertal leads over the Bilkengrat. In the first part, surefootedness and a head for heights are required. A safety rope helps at the critical sections (about 100 m).
